One of my top 80's band...worth it!!
Arm's Length show was later than expected, starting at 7:30 pm. But after the opening act of Clean Bandit was over, they finally came on almost 9 pm. The girl on vocals had a really good voice, but I just did not like the mix of electronic and classical music mashup. Good cover song on 90's hit song "Show Me Love" from the girl on vocals too. Opening band Clean Bandit, I was not much of a fan. I remembered their last song was a hit, but that's about it. I had seen a playlist online for their previous shows and was excited because it included most of their older 80's hits. They sang most of my favorite, including "Rio," "Hungry Like a Wolf," "Notorious," "The Reflex," "Come Undone," "Girls on Film," "Planet Earth," and more. Still got a great voice and was fun to sing along the words to the songs. Not sure what to expect from Arm's Length since I thought they were going to sing most of their new album "Paper Gods." Not much of a fan of the new music, but it's not bad. Glad to finally see and hear them in person after preparing myself all month with a Pandora, Duran Duran channel station.
